Sheryl Crow- Naturalist Doofus.

A change would do her good.  I mean well.

Not only is her grasp of the English language relaxed, she now is evangelizing her harness on healthy living.  Of course, this five years after she developed breast cancer.  She's been cancer free for five years and apparently has changed facets of her lifestyle that she feels will keep her healthy going forward.

That's fine.  The problem is that she espouses so many facets of the naturalist fallacy.  She goes on and on about organic food and buying locally.  She then says that this frequently involves shopping at Wal-Mart, one of the biggest sellers of organic food.  I guess buying locally means actually plunking down her gold card at the Wally somewhere near where tour bus stops, where for the rest of us it means buying food grown close to our homes.

The part I just hate is how she completely fails to acknowledge how she was cured.  She goes on and on about natural food, anti-oxidants and other flimsy feel good topics.  She paints this facade that healthy living cured her, not modern medicine.

Again, it is easy to eat healthy and enjoy the finest organically grown greens when you are a wealthy celebrity. To go on television and sell a book, make unsupported claims, and tout bogus science is truly irresponsible.

Susan Sommers would be proud.  Maybe jealous.
